Supplies included in kit:

1 sheet 12”x 12” Glitz pattern paper “Rebel Manuscript” – Tan background with black lettering
1 sheet 12”x 12” Glitz pattern paper “Rebel Grunge” – Black background with tan swirl design
2 sheet Bazzill Red cardstock – “Grenadine”
2 swirl paper clips
1 fleur-de-lis brad
Two Glitz title stickers
4 Glitz journaling stickers
Ribbon

Supplies used not included in kit:
Regular office size stapler
Glue dots (for adhering ribbon)
Rolodex punch
Black ink
Clear stamp mounting block
Glitz Distressing Clear Stamps
Black Ranger Paint Dabber

Instructions:
1. Place 2 sheets of red cardstock next to each other. Using Glitz Distressing Grid Stamp, stamp grid pattern in two rows horizontally along the bottom of the left piece of red cardstock. Stamp grid pattern in two rows vertically down left side of right cardstock.
2. Using Glitz Distressing Dot Stamp, stamp dot pattern in one row horizontally centered on the previously stamped grid on left piece of red cardstock. Stamp two rows of dots vertically on right side red cardstock. Stamp one row along the left edge and one row where the grid pattern overlaps.
3. Use Black Paint Dabber and paint the edges of the red cardstock. Do this while cardstock is laying down on a scrap piece of paper so you can get a wide stripe of black on the edge of your page. We are making these background pages to coordinate with the pattern paper. So, you want a rough, distressed look. Paint one last stripe on the left cardstock and along the top of edge of the grid border. Set aside to dry.
4. Cut “Rebel Manuscript” (tan with black lettering) in two pieces measuring 5 ½”x 12” and 6 ½”x 12”. Cut 6 ½”x 12” piece to 6 ½”x 10” and ink edges with black ink or black paint dabber.
5. Cut a 2” strip from “Rebel Spades” (distressed red & teal). Use remaining sheet to cut three 3 ½”x 10” strips.
6. Use Rolodex punch along bottom side of “Rebel Spades” 2”x 12” strip. Attach to left page of layout along black stripe above grid border with the red and teal side up, approximately 3 ½” – 4” from bottom of the page.
7. On the left page of the layout, attach “Rebel Manuscript” 6 ½”x 10” block approximately a ½” from top and ½” from left side. It should slightly overlap the red and teal strip at the center of the page. Use this block as a photo mat for a 5”x 7” photo or several smaller photos.
8. Attach journaling block of your choice to the right side of “Rebel Manuscript” block approximately a ½” from the right side of the page. Place a title block at upper right corner of “Rebel Manuscript” block.
9. Attach ribbon at bottom of “Rebel Manuscript” block and approximately in the center of the “Rebel Spades” strip.
10. Use Rolodex punch along 12” edge of 5 ½”x 12” “Rebel Manuscript” strip. Attach with staples along three sides to the right side of the right page of the layout with the punch border towards the center of the page.
11. Attach three journaling blocks to the three 3 ½”x 10” “Rebel Spades” strips. Place three strips in the pocket created by the “Rebel Manuscript” strip so that there is equal space between each of the three strips. Using regular sized office stapler, staple a row of three staples between each of the strips. Now there are three pockets, one for each strip. Place swirl paper clips on left edge of top and bottom strips and the fleur-de-lis brad on left edge of center strip.
12. Adhere another title or journaling block to center pocket. Attach trimmed 4”x 6” photos or wallet sized photos to each strip and your layout is complete!

Bonus Project: Gift Bag
(See template for additional instruction.)
1. Trim 12”x 12” paper to 8 ½”x 12” or use 8 ½”x 11” sheet of cardstock.
2. On 12” side of paper, score two inches in on each side.
3. One 8 ½” side, score paper at 4 ½” from each end.
4. Cut paper at 4 ½” score mark but not past the 2” length wise score mark. (See template.)
5. Fold along score lines. Fold sides up. Fold middle tab in.
6. Use double sided sticky tape to adhere front and back sides together. Then attach middle tab to the sides from inside the back.
7. Use sticky tape or glue dots to adhere ribbon. Start ribbon at bottom of bag about 2” from edge. Adhere until ribbon reaches the top of the bag. Loop a long enough ribbon to make a handle then attach remaining ribbon about 3” over and all the way back down the bag. Repeat on back side.
8. Viola! A cute homemade gift bag!
