1 sheet 12”x 12” Fancy Pants Summer Soiree Strip Sheet
1 Fancy Pants Summer Soiree Sun Overlay
10 Pebbles Inc. candy dots

Additional supplies used:
Cat’s Eye chalk ink – Mustard
Stapler
Straight trimmer
Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink
Instructions:
1. Cut “Dive In”, “10 things I love about Summer” and Sun & Cloud strips from strip sheet. Cut out 9 blocks from journaling block paper leaving one 12” strip intact.
2. Cut 3” strip from Yellow with Aqua swirls. Cut out big swirl block from back side.
3. Ink all strips and blocks with Cat’s Eye chalk ink – Mustard
4. Place Sun Ray 12”x 12” paper to the right of the Aqua (Back side of yellow with suns & words) 12” x 12” paper.
5. Attach sun & cloud strip with sun at top to the left side of the Aqua paper.
6. Place six journaling blocks on the right of the Aqua paper slightly trimming down the blocks so when lined up they are slightly smaller than the 12”x 12” paper. Do not attach yet. Corner round edges on top left and bottom left corners. Place big swirl block under the journaling blocks so that it sticks out about 2 ½” from left of journaling blocks and “pointing” to the left. Now attach all pieces.
7. Take remaining three journaling blocks and line up on the left side of sun ray paper. (The center of the sun burst should be to the lower right.) Make sure these three blocks line up with the six blocks on the aqua paper and trim accordingly. Attach.
8. Place Sun Overlay so sun is centered over the sunburst. Place “Dive In” strip on far left of page. Staple strip and overlay to sun ray page. Trim off excess overlay.
9. Accent with Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink as desired. I highlighted the dots at the end of the swirls. You could add more swirls and highlight other images in the patterns.
10. Journaling blocks can be used interchangeably as photo mats for wallet sized photos, journaling or fun quotes.

Bonus Layout
1. Take Big Wave paper and place so the wave is coming from the left side of the paper.
2. Attach “10 things I love about Summer” strip approximately ¼” from the top of the page.
3. Cut scraps from previous layout in to 10 half inch strips of varying lengths to fit around wave. Ink if desired. Attach to page around wave.
4. Add different colors of candy dots to the start of each strip.
5. List your 10 favorites things you love about summer!
